Jamshedpur : For the past few months, a series of false complaints and morphed photos were being circulated through anonymous email IDs against senior officials of Tata Motors and office bearers of Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco. These complaints were sent to Tata Group, Tata Motors management, and several government departments with the intent to malign reputations and disrupt official work.
Those most affected by these fabricated allegations included:
- Manas Kumar Mishra – Retired from Tata Motors & Chairman, Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco
- V.N. Singh – Senior Officer, Tata Motors
- Vishnu Dixit – Senior Officer, Tata Motors & Secretary, Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya
- Rajat Singh – Senior Officer, Tata Motors

The fake complaints created hurdles in their professional duties and triggered mistrust and tension among various individuals and organizations.
After investigation, police identified and arrested the prime accused, Ramesh Kumar Singh (43), a resident of Bangla No. 34, Aastha Twin City, Baridih. He was working as a manager at Telco Officers Cooperative Housing Society (TOCHS) and was already known for his controversial behavior towards senior citizens and Tata Motors officials in the society.
During interrogation, Ramesh Singh confessed that he acted under the instructions of Rajesh Kumar Das, former General Manager (Legal), Tata Motors.
The Jamshedpur Cyber Police registered a case, arrested the accused, and sent him to judicial custody. Authorities are now conducting a deeper probe to uncover the involvement of others in this conspiracy.
