Jamshedpur: The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) has officially launched its Jamshedpur Chapter. The announcement was made through a notification issued by the PRCI headquarters in Bengaluru.
PRCI East Zone Director, Prabhat Sharma, confirmed the development in a press release, stating that senior journalist Sanjay Mishra has been appointed as the President of the newly formed Jamshedpur Chapter.

Following this announcement, an important meeting of the Jamshedpur Chapter was held at United Club, where Sanjay Mishra delivered the welcome address. The meeting witnessed participation from professionals representing both the media and corporate sectors. During the session, the new executive committee was constituted, with the following office bearers:
President: Sanjay Mishra, Senior Journalist
Executive President: Prashant Singh Putul, Senior Journalist
General Secretary: Parvinder Bhatia, Senior Journalist
Vice President: Sukanya Das, Tata Steel UISL
Treasurer: Bharat Vasani, Senior Office Bearer, Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT)
Highlighting the significance of the launch, Prabhat Sharma said the Jamshedpur Chapter would give PRCI new momentum. The newly appointed team is expected to bring fresh energy in driving professional excellence and promoting ethical communication practices across Eastern India.
Since its inception on April 3, 2004, PRCI has served as a bridge for innovation and excellence in communication. The organization provides a common platform for professionals and innovators across diverse fields—media and journalism, public relations and corporate communications, advertising and marketing, digital and social media, event management, academia and research, government and public sector, as well as social organizations.
Operating from its Bengaluru headquarters, PRCI today has a strong presence across 59 cities in India.
