Jamshedpur, Kadma: In a shocking incident, criminals opened indiscriminate fire in Shastrinagar Block No. 3 under Kadma police station area on Wednesday morning. Alok Bhagat, also known as Alok Munna, was shot multiple times, with four bullets hitting him in the chest. The attackers fled the scene immediately after the crime. Alok’s associates rushed him to TMH hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. Eyewitnesses reported that Alok had left his house on his Bullet motorcycle when the assailants, who were lying in wait, ambushed him.

Dispute During Kali Puja Immersion Linked to the Murder

Reports suggest that the attack may be linked to a previous clash during the Kali Puja immersion on November 4. During the incident, Alok’s brother, Manoj Bhagat, had filed a complaint, stating that a group of 10-15 people, including Chhotu Bachcha Akash Singh, and Naresh Singh, attacked them. Chhotu Bachcha allegedly aimed a weapon at Alok, leading to a scuffle.

Alok Was Recently Married

Tragically, Alok had been married just 25 days earlier, on November 22. His sudden death has left his family and friends in shock. Tension has since gripped the area, with heavy police deployment in place.
Alok was a known supporter of Former Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta and had actively backed him during elections. Police have launched an investigation and are working to identify and apprehend the attackers.
