Shillong, December 13: Jamshedpur FC Reserves put on a commanding performance to defeat Football 4 Change 4-1 in their final RFDL Regional Qualifiers match, cementing their place in the Zonal Round as Group Champions. The victory at the MFA Ground, Shillong ensured Jamshedpur’s unbeaten campaign in the Regional Qualifiers, with an impressive tally of 13 points from five matches, 20 goals scored, and only two conceded.
Despite an early display of resilience from Football 4 Change, the Red Miners found their breakthrough in the second half. Puia, who had threatened the opposition defence throughout the game, opened the scoring in the 52nd minute with a skilful solo effort, dribbling past his marker and slotting the ball past the goalkeeper.

Puia doubled his tally in the 64th minute, showcasing his clinical finishing once again. Football 4 Change struggled to contain Jamshedpur’s relentless attack.
However, against run of the play, Football 4 Change scored from the spot making it 2-1. But Jamshedpur also got a penalty after Puia was fouled. Amzard stepped up confidently to convert, extending Jamshedpur’s lead to 3-1.
Amzard struck again in the 86th minute to seal the victory, finding the back of the net with a composed finish to make it 4-1 and paving for a superb regional qualification campaign.
