The firing incident occurred on the night of September 12, amid a clash between two groups near the Ganesh Puja venue in Agrico. During the altercation, shots were fired and stones were thrown, resulting in injuries to Akash Singh Bhullar. Following the incident, Akash filed a complaint with Sidgora Police, naming Akshay Singh and others as responsible for the attack. In retaliation, Akshay Singh also filed a complaint, accusing Akash Singh, Amarpreet Singh, Billa Pathak, Shubham (aka Vicky), and Vicky Singh Gill of involvement in the firing. The police have now arrested Vicky Singh and Shubham Singh based on Akshay Singh’s complaint. Previously, the authorities had detained Amarpreet Singh, Billa Pathak, and Mohit Singh as part of the same case. Akshay Singh was also arrested earlier after being found in possession of a pistol and live cartridges. With these recent arrests, the police are intensifying their efforts to unravel the underlying cause of the conflict and ensure security around the ongoing festival celebrations.
