Jamshedpur: Residents of Zone 3A in Birsanagar, near Hanuman Temple, have been grappling with sewerage leakage and overflow issues for the past year. The contaminated water from the overflowing sewage on Pipeline Road has led to widespread filth and foul odors, severely impacting the health and well-being of the residents. Despite repeated complaints and requests to MLA Saryu Roy’s office for intervention, no substantial action has been taken, leaving the locals frustrated and feeling neglected.
In response to the growing discontent, BJP leader Dinesh Kumar visited Pipeline Road in Zone 3 on Sunday. During his visit, he attentively listened to the grievances of the residents and expressed his concern over the situation. Criticizing MLA Saryu Roy’s inaction, Dinesh Kumar stated that it is disgraceful that residents have been suffering for a year without any relief from the local leadership. He emphasized that such neglect is both careless and insensitive.
Dinesh Kumar assured the residents that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would soon take effective measures to resolve the issue. From the site itself, he contacted officials from the concerned corporate body via phone and urged them to take immediate steps for a permanent solution, ensuring prompt relief for the people.
Several local BJP leaders, including Mandal President Bablu Gop, General Secretary Naresh Prasad, Tapas Karmakar, Anup Pandey, Jitendra Tiwari, Niranjan Swain, Ashwini Gupta, Dilesh Poddar, Anil Agarwal, and Subroto Setuva, were present during the visit.
