Jamshedpur: On the second day of the Media Cup Cricket tournament, Jubilee XI emerged victorious against Dimna XI, while Kaliamati XI dominated Domuhani XI with an eight-wicket win at Keenan Stadium. In the first match of the day, Jubilee XI put up an impressive total of 149 runs for the loss of just one wicket in their allotted 15 overs.

Rajesh Gorai scored 24 runs, Vineet Jha contributed 29, Rajat Singh played a brilliant knock of 50, and Ranjan Gupta added 28. Chasing 150, Dimna XI fought hard but could only manage 135 runs for five wickets in their 15 overs. Chanakya top-scored with 42 runs, while Mohammad Zahid added 28. Despite a 14-run effort from Prashant Singh, Dimna XI fell short by 16 runs. For his all-round performance, Rajesh Gorai was named Player of the Match.
In the second match, Kaliamati XI secured a commanding eight-wicket win. Domuhani XI, despite losing just one wicket, struggled to accelerate and posted 117 runs in 15 overs. Kaliamati’s Abhishek Singh stole the show with a blistering 77 off just 38 balls, smashing ten fours and four sixes. His innings powered the team to an easy win as they chased down the target in just 9.1 overs. Captain Ratnesh Tiwari supported with 10 runs. Abhishek Singh was awarded Player of the Match for his match-winning knock. Local leaders, including MLA Saryu Rai and Purnima Das Sahu, graced the event at Keenan Stadium, encouraging journalists participating in the tournament.
