Jamshedpur/Potka : In a heartfelt display of compassion, Potka’s MLA, Sanjib Sardar, once again came to the aid of a distressed family. A resident of Chhota Amda, Piyush Bhanj, was admitted to Tata Main Hospital (TMH), Jamshedpur, due to deteriorating health. Sadly, despite receiving medical care, Piyush passed away during treatment. The total hospital bill amounted to ₹1,77,809, of which the family could only pay ₹35,500 due to their dire financial situation. The hospital withheld the body, demanding the outstanding balance of ₹1,42,309, which the family was unable to pay. In their time of distress, they reached out to MLA Sanjib Sardar for help.
Taking immediate action, MLA Sardar personally intervened by negotiating with the TMH management and successfully managed to have the outstanding amount of ₹1,42,309 waived. As a result, the hospital released the body to the grieving family. The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to MLA Sanjib Sardar for his timely intervention and support in their difficult time. “If Sanjib is there, anything is possible,” the family gratefully said.
