Jamshedpur/Potka : On Saturday, Potka MLA Sanjib Sardar officially inaugurated three significant road construction projects in Potka block, funded under the MLA fund, with a total estimated cost of ₹15.60 lakhs. The projects include road construction in Sarse village under Rasunchopa Panchayat, Bada Ramgarh in Chakdi Panchayat, and Hensda village in Hensda Panchayat. During the foundation stone-laying ceremony, MLA Sardar emphasized that these projects were initiated based on the public demand to improve local infrastructure. He expressed confidence that the new roads would greatly ease transportation for the residents and committed to continuing the development work in the area.
Sardar encouraged villagers to stay informed about government schemes by consulting their Panchayat or Block offices and apply for benefits accordingly. He highlighted the government’s determination to ensure development reaches every last person in society. He also mentioned key initiatives like the “Maiya Samaan Yojana”, which provides monthly financial support of ₹1,000 to women aged 18 to 50 years, and the ongoing approval process for beneficiaries. Furthermore, he noted that over 7,000 people in the block have been approved for housing under the “Abua Awas” scheme, catering to those excluded from the *PM Awas Yojana*. Sardar also spoke about the “Guruji Student Credit Scheme”, designed to promote education among students. Several local dignitaries, including Mukhiya Sangeeta Sardar, Sudhir Soren, and other community leaders, were present at the event.
