Jamshedpur : yoga, badminton, basketball, and more. The students participated eagerly in all the events. Students from grades 1 to 3 dressed up as their favorite athletes and showcased their talent in a ramp walk. Meanwhile, students from grades 4 to 8 delivered speeches about their favorite sports and competed in inter-class games like kho-kho, kabaddi, badminton, and basketball.
On this occasion, the school’s Principal, Mrs. Rukhsar Ayesha, addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of National Sports Day in promoting sports and physical activities in India. She highlighted that this day is celebrated every year to honor the birth anniversary of the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, who brought multiple gold medals to India and made the country proud at the Olympics. School Director Syed Rashid Jafar explained that the purpose of Sports Day is to ignite interest in sports among students and to encourage their physical and mental development. The teachers at Kids International School also actively participated in the event, motivating the students to give their best.
