A Four-Day Themed Summer Camp Culminates in a Heartwarming Mother’s Day Celebration at Wave International Resort
Jamshedpur: Kids International Play School recently organized a vibrant and engaging four-day summer camp from May 3rd to May 6th, culminating in a grand Mother’s Day celebration held at the Wave International Resort. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of over 55 children and their mothers, making it a memorable experience for all involved.
Summer Camp Highlights
The summer camp was a brilliant initiative designed to blend learning with fun, creativity, and bonding. Each day featured a special theme to keep the children engaged and entertained. Day 1 was a Disneyland-themed extravaganza with Jumping Mickey, filling the atmosphere with magic and excitement. Day 2 brought a splash of fun with Aquafesta, featuring a pool party and a theatre day. On Day 3, the children enjoyed a mall outing with live food counters serving popcorn, pizza, momos, chow mein, juice, lemonade, and more. Each day ended with delightful gift distributions for the children.
Mother’s Day Celebration
The final day was dedicated to celebrating mothers with a Bollywood-themed gala filled with games, performances, and joyful moments. The celebration beautifully honored the spirit of motherhood and strengthened the bond between parents and children.

Guests of Honor
The event was graced by two distinguished guests – Mrs. Purbi Ghosh, a renowned social and cultural activist, and Nandita Srivastava, a popular social media influencer known for her “Kokila Ben” acts. Both guests added charm and inspiration to the event and were presented with mementos and plants as tokens of appreciation.
Awards and Recognitions
The program concluded with an award ceremony where Shaheen Shamim was crowned ‘Super Mom’ for her energetic participation in games, while Saba Parveen earned the title of ‘Diva Mom’ for her stunning outfit. These recognitions celebrated the talent and dedication of the participating mothers.
All participants received complimentary gifts and certificates of participation, with children also taking home special gift hampers. School managers Shanaya Shafiq and Warisha Ahmad played a pivotal role in organizing the event, ensuring that every detail was thoughtfully executed. Principal Rukhsar Ayesha delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, guests, and team members for their enthusiastic support.
